Martin Brodeur is the best goalie that ever played the game.
Last season he still pulled 43 wins after losing Niedermayer and Stevens from the NJ defence corps.
5 seasons with 40+ wins
10 seasons with 30+ wins
Brodeur has 446 career wins in 813 games played, at this rate he should overtake Roy's record for most wins within 3 seasons which will make him 35-36 years old.

Brodeur comes in 1st place because of obvious Stats but 2nd place I'd say Cam Ward, but I don't really like Carolina that much because of the SC Finals. He's an awesome Goalie even though he's only a rookie.

Dominik Hasek. Although he may struggle with injury and may not be as UNBELIEVABLE as he used to be, he is still so strong at what he does when he is in the net.
THis guy was a BIGGER MONSTER GOALIE then any of the goalies in the NHL have ever been.
Broduer is a good and strong second.

Luongo--look at how consistent his save pct. is and don;t give me that crap about not having played in the playoffs...hey, he saved Canada's bacon in the World Cup SF. Watch him really do some playoff damage with the Cancuks in '07.
Brodeur is a very good goalie but he has benefited from a defensive system that limits shots. Look how he played w/o Niedermayer and Stevens in the '06 season and playoffs.

Martin Brodeur is the best goalie in the NHL. He matched Patrick Roy's standard and he even surpassed him. Therefore Brodeur is the best.

If you go by Vezina Trophy winners:
Jacues Plante1956-1960, 1962, 1969
thats 7 the most in the trophies history its also been around since 1927.
of active players:
Dominic Hasek 1994-1995, 1997-1999, 2001
thats 6 for him.

Even though he has had injury problems I believe that Dominick Hasek is still the best in the game. When he is in the net, his team will always have a chance to win the game. If you look at the stats, I am sure you will find it a rarity that he is ever pulled from the game.
