I've met many band members before or after a concert but IN a rock concert that has happened only once. My sister and I went to see her favorite band opening for my favorite band. While my favorite band (Gene Loves Jezebel) was performing the lead singer of her favorite band (Lions and Ghosts) took a seat in the audience which just happened to be next to her. As for after a rock concert, I've met INXS, Rick Springfield, Chris Isaak, Crowded House, Charlie Sexton, Richard Marx, Sparks, the Nelson Brothers, Suzanne Vega (yeah, mostly in the 80's).

I was a writer for a rock n roll magazine and a musician for many years. I've attended close to 150 professional concerts.

not a rock concert, but I have met Avril Lavigne. My mom won me and my little sister tickets to her show and 2 free passes to go and meet her when I was 21. Avril totally doesn't appreciate her fans. She had this look of impatience the whole time she had to see her fans. It kind of turned me off of her for a while. I still think she's a biotch.

yeah, but it wasnt a big deal. it was a small scale concert featuring Five Iron Frenzy. afterward when most of the people had left the band just kinda came down and we went up to them. we have some great pictures of my older brother jumping into the lead singers arms.

Actually, yes I did. I was working on the crew that was setting up and tearing down the stage and got to meet the guitarist from the Scorpions and Rob Zombie (different shows). Rob Zombie is a tall s.o.b....LOL

Well if i woulda stayed a little longer i coulda at a Three Days Grace Concert, but we had to leave it was almost 12. So i was sad.
