Unfortunately, I think they do but that's just from ignorant rednecks. Truth is, Muslim is a very peaceful religion (god knows how al-qaeda misinterpreted THAT one). I happen to have a lot of Muslim friends and even their families treat me like their own. Oh, and their food kicks serious ****! Never try the restaurant crap! Always go for the home cooked stuff! lol

Yes, I think that muslims are developing a bad image in most of the Western countries. I do not agree that their image is being degraded by anyone in the free world.
THEY ARE DOING IT TO THEMSELVES!!
Look at the situation. Radical extremists are taking their religion and perverting it to their own ends. The perversion of the religion is taking place in their own countries - nowhere else.
Yet, to date, I have seen no action taken by their moderate or conservative religious leaders, they do nothing to muzzle the radical clerics perverting their religion, they undoubtedly know the locations of many of the 'freedom fighters'(to them - better known as terrorists to us) and protect them, and do nothing to stop the continuing violence.
Whatever bad image of muslims the free societies of the world have is well deserved in my opinion.

No I do not. They have a bad image because the majority of Muslim who are moderate do not speak out against the muslim who are violent. The evidence speaks for itself.

Judge a person on who they are individually!
I think all religious people are potential wackos, there is nothing more dangerous than a religious extremist!
So whether Muslims or Christians it makes no difference to me, an extremist is an extremest!

Unfortunately, the average Muslim is considered to be a terrorist -which, of course, is not true. It is the leaders who are the terrorists - not Joe Citizen.
