In womens sizes, I wear size 1-2 in tops, 2-4 in bottoms. I feel ripped off knowing that I am paying the same price as those buying a size 20 as I can find my size for half price at the kids section! I am in my late teens and often shop at the kids section because the prices are much better.

I think bigger clothes should cost more... it uses more material.

Thats discrimination and no one would get away with that. But I understand where you're coming from, I'm your same size as well. But most of the time, you aren't paying for the fabric, you're paying for the brand name. It just wouldn't be right for bigger people to have to pay more, especially because price doesn't have a lot to do with the actually clothes. We pay $15 bucks for underwear sometimes and it's barely anything...

Really? It's always been my experience that bigger clothes DO cost more. Just look in any catalog and see that sizes XS-L or S-XL are one price, and the 1x, 2x, etc. are more. I want to know where you shop so I can get clothes that cost the same as regular sizes!

Bigger clothes often do cost more when you extend to Plus sizes. Remember that the actual fabric is probably not much of the cost--the stitching is just as complicated on size 20s as it is on size 2s (and maybe harder on smaller stuff).
