10-12 hours direct flight from the east coast. Add another 3-4 for west coast - that is if you travel east! If you travel west, you'll go through the orient and that's just a plain waste of time! You'd end up flying about 24 hours.

Toodles.

As far as I know there is no direct flights between USA and Egypt. One has to stop in Europe (Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Rome) That would be a long or very long trip depending on the conection time. When I flew from the USA to Cyprus, it took me 21 hours to get there, after two stops: Amsterdam and Athens. the first one was only 2 hours, the second one took 5 hours.

It depends where in USA you are flying from and where you are going in Egypt. The only direct flights from USA to Egypt are the New York-Cairo flights offered by Egyptair. These flights are non-stop and they take 10 hours and 15 minutes.
