I would bet my last marble that we really exist. I would also have to guess that we are part of an experiment.
To support the first part of the question, I would call on a quote from French philosopher,Rene Descartes , he stated, "I Think, Therefore I Am". This was his proof for being.
As for the second part, We do seem to be part of an abominable experiment, called evolution by some, creation by others. Off hand, it looks like we are transforming into creatures of higher and higher capacities. What we are today, just is not getting it, so most of us may get wiped out soon, by our own lack of intelligence. I hope whatever comes out of the ashes does a little better.

We are a locker in the universal; Grand Central Station. We exist but we are such a tiny part of it all, it doesnt really matter

You know.......you could be right that we could be part of some twisted experiment. We do exist but could only do so at the whim of some lifeforce that exist outside of our universe....some huge life force that looks into our universe as we would look at a grain of sand.

Experiment of an alien race. Who placed us on a watery, blue
& green ball to see how we would grow & procreate.
Right now, they are studying to see how we overcome the
obstacles they've created.
