I grew up in Uitica and most of the closest places have been turned into new subdivisions or landscaping places. Better check on Middleton Farms before you try them (Dequindre Rd, Utica- 586-731-6699), I wasn't aware they had berry picking just apples and cider. If they don't have berry picking, the next 2 closest places are probably Miller's Big Red (32 Mile between Van Dyke and Rochester Rd.- 810-752-7888) and Verellen Orchards (63260 Van Dyke,Romeo 586-752-5671). As the other poster said, Blakes in Armada is good (586-784-5343) and Coon Creek Orchard (never been there) is very close to Blakes (586-784-5062). Sounds fun, maybe I'll go too.

Blakes Orchard (In Almont) and Middleton Farms (Utica?) are both North of Sterling Heights and excellent places for picking berries.
