Try Real Player. I do like this player because it's the one that plays the most audio and video formats. You might need to install some codecs though. You can get them here: http://www.free-codecs.com and the player at: http://www.real.com

I would try using Real player, I have had much better luck than I have had using Windows Media player. I highly recommend it.
