She's still the same person she was three days ago. Just tell her you aren't a lesbian and you aren't interested in her other than having the same type of friendship you've always had. It's not my thing, but I don't judge someone who is.

Well, it's not wrong. But be careful not to get involved in a physical relationship with her. It's just the same as if your best friend since grade 1 was a guy. If he told you that he liked you, my advice would be DO NOT get involved, because eventually when you break up you will have just ruined a great friendship.
So be supportive, tell her you'll be there for her, but be very, very careful not to become her girlfriend, because after awhile when it gets awkward or fighty, you will have lost a good friend.
Anyway, of course it's not wrong. There's nothing she can do about it one way or the other. Who knows what she is ready for right now; teenage years are crazy hormonally and she might just be ready for any kind of sex.

There is nothing wrong with being homosexual... It's a scientifically proveable perfectally naturally occouring part of all species in the world... The only problem occours is when people add religion...
In any case, unless you really hate her, let you friend know that you don't hate her... Still be friends with her... There's nothing wrong with being friends with her... If you don't want to go out with her... I think she'll understand that you are not interested in girls... But on that same note, if the thought has crossed you mind, it might be worth it to look into experimenting... Your young, live it up!

Hey! my best friend is a lesbian too. I don't know what causes lesbianism. But, I don't think it is anything that she can help. Because I know that she struggled with it. And, she went through being hetro and then bi and finally she just had to admit that she was gay. Don't hate her.

its not wrong. My teacher in 7th grade once told us that ALWAYS around you there will be a person that is either gay or a lesbian. If he/she is not than there must be something else wrong with that person. So just watch out of that person.

We have both straight and gay friends. If she was a friend before, what difference should her sexual preference be?? As long as she knows you are not interested in a sexual relationship with her the friendship shouldn't really change.
Good luck.

yikes, what a disaster. Our opinion doesn't matter, you should ask yourself whether you believe it is right or wrong, she is your friend after all. I take it that you're straight, so tell her you feel uncomfortable. You can't be best friends with someone who likes you as a lesbian, that's pretty sick.

no, i dont think that there is anything wrong with it, although i would think twice about being friends with a gay guy because of the fear that he might want more than a friendship

Please don't fall into Satans trap as well. Find a good spirt filled chruch and both of you go and find out what Gods love can do for you both. Jesus loves you both and wants you to turn your life as well as your friends life over to him. Just ask him to come into your heart and he will show you the way.
