My husband and I have been married 29 years, and for the past 6 months we can't have sex.
I hurt so bad he cannot penitrate. Has anyone else had a problem like this, and what did you do ?
It's not a matter of lubrication, it just hurts.

As you get older, your estrogen levels fall, the most common symptoms are hot flashes, insomnia, and VAGINAL Atrophy: MEANING (the lining of the vagina dries and thins, predisposing it to irritation and discomfort during sexual intercourse!) Meaning that you have hit the stage of MENOPAUSE!! Premature menopause, occours before age 35, and delayed menopause occours after age 58! So if you are between these age ranges this is a possability as to why this is occouring! It it persists, PLEASE go see an OB/GYN! Estrogen replacement therapy might be what you need, it relieves the symptoms of menopause! Good Luck!!

I have this problem too. I was just diagnosed with vestibulitis. Where exactly is it hurting? What kind of pain are you having (stabbing pain, burning pain, etc.) and where is it hurting (deep inside, at your vaginal opening, etc.) Penetration is very painful and I have pain/burning the entire time. I even have burning afterward. If I were you I would make an appointment with your gyno and get checked out.

Sunshine....Is your uterus falling out? Are you having bladder issues? I have friends who have had your very same complaint and they have had to see thier ob/gyn's for help. I believe it is fairly common in women who have had several children. See your doctor. Don't guess.

You could have a cervical infection. You need to go to a GYN and have a check up.
