Totally different and I would choose the sleigh ride.. The hay tends to be a bit itchy...

I've never been on either one but a sleigh ride reminds me of Christmas and I like Christmas, so I'm going with the sleigh ride.

well you need snow for a sleigh ride and if you don't like the cold, I'd say you should go on a hay ride instead.

sleigh ride is horse drawn over ice/snow (think big blades) it can be any type including hay wagon.
hay ride is a flatbed buggy with hay stacked on top, pulled by horse(s).
Which one you choose depends on the weather, sleigh rides in winter, hay rides in summer. Both are fun.

no, sleigh ride is with a sleigh and a hay ride is more with hay and on a hay rack or trailer of some sort

Sleigh is in the snow and hay is when its nice and sunny in the summer. I like snow rides better
