I think thongs tend to have more of a universal appeal, because if the piece fits properly, it can make the wearer look good, but not everyone has the ability to make booty (or boy shorts, for that matter) look good.
Then again, I suppose I'm being harsh here. I think people should be able to wear whatever they want as long as they are comfortable, because that's what everything fashion-wise really boils down to... Personal comfort.

I did NOT know what booty shorts were, so looked online....
They are way more sexier than thong's! Why? I think because they add a little to the imagination, whereas thong's pretty much paint a complete portrait. (Not that this is bad... I am NOT complaining!) Does that make any sense?

It was thongs, but Booty pants are the **** now seeing more and more showing up in the place of thongs.

To me it doesn't matter as long as the booty in the underwear is comfortable. Thongs and booty shorts are cool but when you get right down to it you gotta be comfortable. Besides girls can be sexy in any kinda underwear.

Booty shorts.. for me, anyhow! I just can't stand the thong going up my hienie! And, the boy-shorts come in all sorts of styles, like the really pretty all-lace ones from Vic's Secret.. I love them! Besides, if you wear low-rise jeans or skirts and have a thong on, it looks kind'a slutty.. the boy-shorts are lower on the hip so look better..

both are great!! it depends on the situation too. if i see a girl in booty shorts then it is hard not to look and feel good, thongs are better for more intimate situations and much more fun
