with further info o last question about virus-ed PS, "help"?

help..... i need to reset my PC because it`s virus-ed and god knows what else up to the eye balls?

i have a microsoft WORKS 8 disc which came from the new pc, can i use this re-boot cd?, if it is a re-boot cd? the old pc is at least 4 or 5 years old and i have No idea where it`s re-boot cd is

no you can't, works is not a bootable cd. you can go to bootdick.com and download floppy boot files, or cd boot files for free, and then put them on a disk or floppy to boot with.
If you have an xp cd, it is a boot disk and an install disk

if you have XP have you tried system restore?
