im planning to sell my ipod and i would like to know how to delete everything off my ipod. including the part where it has all my private information on it.

Use iPod Updater. It's free and will update it so when you sell the iPod, the next person won't have to do it. Plus, it will delete any of your personal data on the iPod.

Delete all your songs using iTunes, and make everything with your personal information blank

format it.

in windows, right click on the ipod drive, then format

in mac, use disk utility

go to itunes and go to options and stuff it should tell you o by the way how much you asking for cause i might be interested
