It's a long and tedious process, and it cost's an arm and a leg (around 250$ in LA, without touch ups) and you need to touch up around every 4 weeks b/c they do fall out. If you are very very very careful and you don't wear a lot of eyemakeup (b/c you have to remove all that eyemakeup) they can last up to 3-4 months...

Eyelash grafting is similar to extensions... only they're for your eyelashes.. You lie back, and close your eyes, and they put a little pillow under each lash line. With fine tip tweezers and some sort of glue, they take each extension, bond it your your existing eyelash. It took me about 4 hours the last time, and each touch up takes about 45mins to 1 hour, depending on how many they need to replace.

I mean they look GREAT! and they're always curly, but as they fall out, I can't help but think that it's also pulling out my already too sparse eyelashes... I don't care what they say... I just can't get over thinking that they are... But they are very expensive, and in the end, not worth it...

They're like acrylic nails, they look great, but you have to keep getting them done, b/c once you take them off your regular nails are so weak...

It is not NATURAL as such, but there is such a thing as eyelash extensions. it is NOT the same as false eyelashes. each extension is glued to one of your own individual eyelashes and lasts untill that eyelash falls out. to begin, you get a full set, then as a few fall out, you get refils. you can also chose the length and thickness of your lashes. It can be pretty pricey, but ive had them done a few times and even strangers comment on how great they look, and you dont need to use mascara. i THINK its proper name is eyelash grafting, but if you look up eyelash extensions in your area you should find them in a salon somewhere. but remember, not the same as false eyelashes, which are just a one use thing. hope that helps :)

My mom had to use glaucoma medicine, and it made her eyelashes thicker and longer. My sister sort of joked that she was going to use it for her eyelashes. I'm not sure if she was really joking though.
