Hmmm... I have always been touched about her personal story.

How she had planned to become an English professor, but then everything changed with the random murder of her fiancé. The incident propelled her to enroll in law school and set her on the path to become a felony prosecutor and an outspoken victims' rights advocate. Grace helped staff the hotline at an Atlanta Battered Women's Center for 10 years.

Sometimes I think she wears much too much makeup on the show and sometimes I am put-off by her "reporting style"...but I can overlook those things.

Admire her. She's a very bright lady, and has turned her personal loss into a renewed focus.
She doesn't let TV or fan base keep her from speaking her faith, and her mind.
Wish SHE were a judge - we need some with her sensibility.
