Use eyeshadows that contrast with your eye color, by contrast I mean opposites ex: black and white, red and green, blue and orange. Notice when these each of these pairs are together both colors stand out. In your case, try a reddish, dark brown, it'll look lovely. Also don't forget your skintone, the eyeshadow must match your skintone. Curlling your eyelashes will give you a wide-eye effect, great, if you have eyes on the small side.
Remember, if you want to accentuate your eyes, go lighter on lips, cheeks and whatever else you put makeup on, on your face!

Purple eyeshadow will bring out the green in your eyes the best. But don't go to dark. If you do, then your eyes will look smaller. Use shimmery purples also. It will give the illusion your eyes are bigger than they are.

I have emerald green eyes and trust me, if you're looking to make your eyecolor pop, DON'T use a green shadow!! It will just blend in with your eyes. They key to noticability is contrast. Try a shimmery ivory or pale gold color all over the lid with copper in the crease and use black liner and mascara. The contrast of the black lashes and light shadow will attract attention straight to that area but the focus will immediatly shift to your eye itself, because that's where the brightest color is. If you want a more colorful look to bring out the eyes, try some bronze-brown or lavender-plum shadows.

Purple is another great colour that brings out green in eyes. Black eyeliner actually makes your eyes look smaller, but I makes em stand out more. I never leave anywhere without my eyeliner. Put it on your top lids and on the insides of your bottom lids. if you just dust the liner across your bottom lashes, it will make your eyes look bigger, but not as dramatic.

if u have small eyes.. using a lighter colour around the eyes will def make them look bigger. like white eyeliner instead of black.. but, using black eyeliner and mascara will brighten up your green eyes and make them more noticable. maybe use the black eyeliner around the outer edges of the eyes making it darker and use any green shade on the inner half of the eyelid to make the eyes look bigger.
make sure you taper the eyeliner towards the inner eye. (make the eyeliner thinner and less obvious towards the middle)
