Does any one know on the internet were i can c a toural to set up a network connection using dial up!!?

Im Getting A USED COMPUTER and im wanting to hook up a network connection using dial-up is there anyway that i can do this. Does any one know how......... please help

P.s Has anyone ever bought a computer from goodwill..............

the computer needs a modem in it. you plug it into a phone jack on the wall just like a phone. Then you have to have an Internet Service Provider that you call with your computer. The ISP provides a list of numbers for your computer to use. Most phone companies offer Internet Service...
