Some spotting is normal, but if it continues or gets heavier, I'd call the doctor. You may want to call anyway. Better to be cautious.

If the pregnancy test was positive you ARE pregnant. I would go to the emergency room just to be on the safe side. It could be the start of a miscarriage or simply be nothing. I've had a miscarriage & it started with spotting & I've also been pregnant & had spotting & carried my child to term so that spotting was nothing. So you just dont never know. But that would be my advice to you, go to the doctor or hospital. Best of luck.

Well it could be bad and it could be normal. You are past the stage for inplantation spotting, so if you are worried, see a doctor, or see one anyway. I know brown blood is old blood, and if appearing after intercourse is very normal, but pink or red blood is new blood and should be checked out right away. And blood followed with cramping, you should see a doctor right away. There can be a whole number of things causing it, and maybe even nothing at all. Some woman bleed during their pregnancy and the cause is never known. But be on the safe side. A miscarriage can be a very rough thing, even if the child wasn't planned. Trust me, I know.

Sometimes spotting can be normal in early pregnancy. It can happen when the baby is implanting into the womb. If you've been having cramping with spotting, it could very well be implantation cramping.

Or -- could be a miscarriage (God forbid). Best way to know for sure is go see your doc for a blood test.

I am not a doctor.

It is prefectly normal to spot in early pregnancy. When it becomes a major issue is when the spotting turns into heavy bleeding followed by cramping, this is a sign of miscarriage. But as long as you are just spotting there is no need to worry!! relax and CONGRATS!!!

Please see your doctor as soon as you can! Spotting this early in a pregnancy could mean everything or it could mean nothing at all. I spotted with my oldest daughter and it was nothing...I spotted with my next two pregnancies and lost them both, then had my youngest daughter and it was a perfectly normal pregnancy... moral to the story: every pregnancy is different, so get checked!! I hope all is ok for you.

there is a time when the egg inserts itself in the uterus and this can cause mild or light spotting. If the home test said yes go see your Dr. and have a blood teat done to know for sure.

Some women spot when the ovum implants in the uterine lining. Just take it easy for a few days and if it doesn't stop, check with your dr.
