I am a Lions fan and I do have to say that it was a good idea to get Joey off the Field, But not because of any gay rumor because he is a bad QB. He doesn't have what it takes to be a big league QB.
I do think he is straight though, and again if he isn't who the hell cares?!!!!!

He is the latest single QB to have this rumored about him. Others in the past have included (from memory) - Steve Young, Cade McNown, Jake Plummer, Brian Griese, Bobby Hebert, Chad Pennington, David Carr - and the list goes on and on and they are false.

Who cares? Even if he is, it will not be revealed unless he retires and wants to make a buck on a book deal. I think we are a long way off from a high-profile player coming out in the NFL, and he isn't that high up the food chain.

I'm yet to hear a rumor about him being gay, but dont they say that about every QB!!
Every QB in the NFL has had a rumor about them being gay. I'm sure there are gay men in the NFL. But I doubt someone will admit it.
My answer is...Who knows?

No idea...but does it really matter? I mean to us...the fans and spectators. Being gay or straight doesn't have any impact on his ability on the field.

Coming from a lions fan i may be bias but he is either color blind or throws gay. i am so glad the lions dumped him he was garbage a third string holder at best.
