This is really sweet that you would even think to ask this question. Id just say keep offering and making sure she doesnt need any help. Then, make sure she doesnt over do it with chores and stuff because some times I needed help when I was preg., but even when someone offered it I wouldnt take the help b/c I dint want to put them out.

If you have a cat, it is vital that you empty the kitty litter tray. Being around animal waste can lead to problems in her pregnancy.
Your girlfriend can still help you with minor chores, i.e. helping cook dinner, dusting, folding laundry, and ironing. She would definetely appreciate it if you did the harder chores which involve standing for long periods of time, or any sort of physical exertion. I know since I have been pregnant, tasks such as cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming and hanging out the washing have been a pain!
If she is still in her early pregnancy days, it may be a good idea for you to do all of the food preperation, cooking and washing of the dishes. I had extremely bad morning sickness, and the smell of food made me feel worse.

she shouldn't be lifting anything real heavy and definitely don't lift things above her head(height) if she is standing for long periods of time especially in the summer heat her legs and feet may swell she should sit for 10 minutes or so every other hour or more if she has swelling. When I was young and having my family, I thought all that was just a myth and I was told that it may not affect me right then but would take it's toll as I grew older...they were right! The one thing My mom would insist on me doing.. on the 9th day after my baby was born, she would come over and would not let me get out of bed except to go to the bathroom! She said that was the day that the uterus goes back into place!.Might have been a myth but why chance it and I enjoyed the day in bed!

I think she was looking for tips, and it dosn't mater what she means by girlfriend.
picking up cluter is a #1 on my list... it's the harderst for most people to do.
takeing out the trash as it gets filled so there arn't several bags on trash day.
switch off on doing loads of laundery so it dosn't seem like your doing to much.
make sure all the dishes are rinsed even if you don't have the time to do them for her.
cleaning out the refrigerator once a week makes it very easy to do and it don't build a bunch of gross leftovers.
make the bed
wipe down the bathroom sink/tub after you use them.
if you have the time wipe down the miror too.
it might not be 10 but it's a good start... and if everyone in a house including guests use the clean up your own mess rule then cleaning becomes easyer.

Just let her rest between chores. Tell her she doesn't have to get everything done everyday.
I had a friend who always played 'tired' when I came over, she wasn't pregnant, but she would remark on how nice and clean my house was. I had a feeling she wanted me to feel sorry for her and just 'clean it for her' sorry, I'm not a maid service, nor am I a therapist, I just stopped going over to her place.

You would probably be best doing the cleaning that requires you use strong smelling cleaning products, and lots of bending. Also sweeping and mopping can get pretty hard on your back, and don't forget that if you have a cat you need to change the cat box or she could get toxoplasmosis, very bad for baby.

Wear one of those pregnancy suit thingy's and then just do some work, you'll possibly appreciate how she feels. Whats wrong with her boyfriend doing some chores, or are you lesbians raising a family?

Anything that you can help with would be good I think. And there is a lot to be done. Anything that requires a lot of standing, bending or lifting can be very uncomfortable for a pregnant woman.

Do anything that requires bending. Sweep, mop, scrubbing floors, and pregnant women hate doing dishes.
