WOW some of these posts are rediculous. I can't believe how stupid some people are! Colour is not french AT ALL - it's probably the most english word ever. And americans spell it one letter less because they are too DUMB to remember the correct spelling or meaning..(colour for hair products? WTF? ).

Both spelling are acceptable. However color is used when referring to red, blue, green, etc. Colour is used when referring to hair products like hair colour.
