Well lets see after taxes that would be ... oh heck I am not in the mood to do math now, but I'd pay off the small amount of debt I have and buy 2 houses in 2 different locations and travel a bit. I'd share some with a couple close friends. I'd want to establish a business but maybe after taking time to finally write my first novel.

Let us count the ways I love you... INVEST some money... probably about half of what's left because (unlike Richard Hatch from Survivor) I would take care of the IRS first. I would pay off my home/land, my brother's, have my mom and dad new homes built. Put back $X for each of my kids/stepkids for college/home/car/etc., have my mother-in-law a home built and pay off her debts (she's helped us a lot, but won't let us pay her back). Buy my older brother a home. Put back $X for retirement. Pay off EVERYTHING I owe on. I would either start a business or invest in someone else's (silent partner) after researching the HECK out of it so I would continue to have money later. Take a MEGA vacation. Have surgery I've been putting off (fertility). I would do some remodeling to my home and upgrade some things (like my porch). Look into charities to support. I have apparently dreamed about this WAY TOO MUCH... LOL.

I 'd give back to God as a way of saying thank You, then, the needy. Then, i 'd settle college loans, then i 'd host a party with my friends and family. Basically, let everyone have a good time because i'm happy and will be rich for a few days.
At least, if everyone around me is happy, i 'd feel fulfilled and happy too.

I would share it with friends who live in another country.. They are very very poor. I would also make a trip to Africa where I lived before and build a house for two families there

A million dollars is not much these days but I probably get a new Lamborghini and a Corvette.

I would move closer to my friends. I would hire someone to drive me, as I do not drive, I would make my mom's house wheelchair accessible, and I would set up healthcare for her. I would pay the taxes on million dollars. I would set up a fund to reform Social Security, as they often make other people responsible when they overpay!

Put it in the bank. A million $ isn't squat these days. Now if you said 100 million then my life might change.
