Doubtful. Who would vote for a woman who didn't have the courage to divorce a guy who humiliated her so publicly.

I get the feeling she is just thrown up there as a distraction. I don't think the Democrats (as ignorant as it is not to) will run a female in 2008. It jst seems like they would be too scared to take that (certainly necessary) leap in 2008.

I bet there is a candidate that they are covering for a while so that people latch on to the whole strong Democrat leader that they prop up for that election.

In reality the most important elections in history may be these mid-term elections this year. Are we ready, hell no... just more of the same lazy, spineless political bull-shite.

Kerry's move in the Senate was slick though. It is already in the British press that there will be a troop withdrawal. So he jumped the gun and made the Republicans go on record as opposing it, he turned the pull-out into a Democratic issue. It certainly is going to happen, the new Iraqi Prime Minister apparently has already requested it formally, the press here is stalling to give the Republicans time to act... but that was a slick move.

Probably not.

I'd vote for her, but I don't believe that the Democrats will give her the nomination. People either hate her or love her, and the Dems will be afraid to pick such a divisive candidate.

But I think she is extremely smart and would do a great job. We need a female president already - look at all the other major countries in the world that have elected a female. And we are supposed to be so progressive here.

If Hillary Clinton becomes president I'm going to move to Canada. Just like so many liberals said they were going to do if Bush won. But wait, how many did actually move? Probably not very many if any at all. So I'm going to be mad about it and say I will move to Canada if she wins because the country will go down the toliet. But if she does actually win I'm going to be a hypocrite and not actually move like many liberals did in the last election.

No -- simple as that. If Democrats put her on the ballot, they might as well kiss any chance for office goodbye. America won't support a female President; especially one as terrible as Hillary. I know many people find Americans to be stupid, but we aren't stupid enough to throw our country into anarchy.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of woman will vote for her just to get a woman elected. I don't think she should be able to run again though, she was already president for 8 years, if you catch my drift.

I think Condoleezza Rice should run for president. She is fifty times smarter than Hillary.

Why do so many people hate on hilary?
I personally think that her political experience, and being married to one of the greatest presidents in the history of the united states, highly qualifies her for the position.

People are just dumb and ignorant and dont wanna see a woman prez.

Those people... are idiots.

I don't think so; she has a long history of being far out to the left and it will be used against her aggressively in a campaign. The Republicans can literally use her fingerprints of the missing records from the Rose Law Firm, the FBI files of political opponents they used (and fired an employee over), and on and on.....I just don't think she overcomes the negative.

Just as many favorite horses fail to win the race she will drop behind the others in the final days of the race for the nomination. Her party needs someone that holds their position better than she does. Her playing like Kerry and moving positions is going to cost her the nomination.

I hope NOT. I mean for a woman to keep her husband around after he gets caught cheating in front of the entire world, and she keeps him around. This doesn't show much character.
