Bagging alcoholic containers for customers?

Does a clerk/cashier, have to bag purchased alcoholic containers for customers before they leave the store, in CA?

Here in Connecticut, we call it a "Package Store". These stores close at 8pm Monday through Friday and at 9pm on Saturday. They are closed on Sunday.

So when you visit, be sure to plan ahead, and get ready to return home with your brown paper bag.
