I was sent home Wednesday night form my job... here are the details as to why and I know you guys dont' know me or the company but do you think I will get fired? Dan is the assistant manager..So yeah this is what happened with Dan.
A man I called emailed our company saying that I was rude to him on the phone. Then Dan, had a meeting with me about it. We discussed the whole situation. I told him that I wouldn't do nothing like that and I understand how the job works. We talked for a little bit and he told me I had to take the next 3 days off so they can vaildate other calls I made. It takes 3 days to do it. He said if it gets done sooner, they will call me. Otherwise I have to call them Monday to find out whats going on with the situation. Dan said it was just a warning. Sandy even said I'll be alright. She said that it's happened to her before. I was freaking out tho but Jenny told me it happened to her before too. I just hope I don't get fired everyone I told to about it said

Yes I do like working for this company. I have improved so much from before and I feel that I worked really hard to get where I needed to. I don't want to see it go all down the drain.

Yeah this never happened to me before with a respondent/client.. so I hope he does just give me a warning and let it slide.

Yeah I tried calling twice and Dan was not in so they tell em to try and call back at 3pm. Why would dan decide, he's only the assistant manager, not the boss?? Wouldn't the boss decide this?? I hope Dan lets me back!

Don't worry about something that you have no control over. Enjoy your weekend & call them monday. If you do get fired, would you really want to work for a dump like that?

I can't say you will or you won't get canned. All you can do is wait and see. It seems to me all you should really get is a warning regardless of whether you were rude or not unless you said something really bad like "f**k you" to a customer. And you should know if you did that or not. Something similar happened to me like this years ago and I think everyone in the service industry gets some idiot complaining about them no matter how nice they are. Even if you didn't do anything you now know there is someone working with you who is not in your corner and wants you out of there so that is also something to consider. They most likely will try it again so you may want to consider finding a different job anyways.

If it's only one complaint, then you should be okay. Your assistant manager should realize that this is just one complaint. He should see what the customer complained about and then tell you next time what to do better in case you encounter the same situation. Basically, if Dan's a nice guy and not an @sshole, he should let this slide because you seem like you really want this job. You should tell him this and that it won't happen again. Good luck Monday.

It's truly a pain in the *** when ones hard work isn't appreciated. Don't worry. I know of no one who was fired just for a small phone altercation. Business is a beauracracy. Wich in itself is annoying. You'll keep working and the world will keep turning. Good Luck.
