Just like girls get their 1st periods at different ages and experience
hormone fluxes at different times in their lives and usually no two
women have the exact same symptoms at the same date and time neither will they go through perimenopause or menopause at
the same age. Some women start menopause in their mid or late
40's , others do not start until they are in their 50's Also women who are in menopause do not stop having sex. That depends on alot more things then what stage she is in life. Some women are
sexually active up until they are late in life or never stop.being sexually active. These are facts.

That is nature. You did not make the rules so it would not do what you expect. Menopause occurs when your body's reproductive system stops ovulating. This varies from individual just as the age at which menses starts is not standard. It is OK to believe that she should be in her menopause, but as you have realized what you believe does not guide nature. There are also women who unfortunately go into menopause before the age of 40, called premature menopause often because of ovarian failure. That is life! You can't set the rules!

Menopause hits women at different ages. 54 is not necassarily the magic number for menapause. Stop stressing about it.
