The long answer is: Black men are maybe the most vocal of the groups of males who like women with shapely bottoms. But many or most men have always liked women with shapely bottoms. A shapely bottom help give a woman that "hour glass figure" that looks very attractive. And a woman with a good figure is thought to be fertile. And with respect to human non-verbal communication, for millions of years women would sway and wiggle their hips in a provocative manner to attract men. Yet here we are wondering "why (black) men like women with phat butts?" But the short answer to the question is: Human nature. We like to see attractive things.

It's just culture I suppose. I know in many African and Latin cultures like Brazil (where there is a heavy African influence on the culture) the Booty is considered the beauty of the woman. Perhaps it goes back to evolution, women with wider hips and bigger butts were seen as more fertile. Every culture has their own fetish like white people and their obsession with super skinny women who have bodies of 12 year old boys with double D's (I can't understand this one) and in Japan, the sight of a woman's neck turns a man on. Men are Horny and love the female form... that's a universal fact
