With the way England has played so far, I believe it is simply by luck they have made it this far. Ghana even plays a lot better and are more consistent and determined than the English would ever be.

The England Vs Paraguay match was the most boring game I have ever watched I was literally falling asleep. There was no flow to their game and clearly there was no understanding between the team.

To become a world champion is not an easy fit. Having a couple of expensive players does not guarantee England the world cup.

Rooney has being placed on a pedestal as if he is the world greatest player, all he does is scream at the ref and protest when a call goes against him.
He is like a spoiled brat that always want to have his way.

The world cup is a team sport and when emphasis is placed on one or a couple of players then there is problem.

Brazil, Germany and France are world champion because it is all about the team and not one or two good players.

Determination and passion for the game is the key and clearly England does not have it.

Nah. This year's England's competion hasn't been quite clear for everyone to see, their previous match against Ecuador, almost had them on the brink of elimination. So i'd say, the chances of England taking the world cup 3.5 out of 10

Nope, that´s impossible, sorry.

By the way, talking about that one in 1966. They won it because they cheated. Sad but true.

I though they had a chance, because they have a balanced team and nobody is playing well. But after the horrible way they played today, will be hard for them . We'll have to wait and see.

not this year.

on the plus side, they haven't played well but have continued to move on.

on the minus side, they are going to start facing strong sides who are playing well, and so far in this world cup it doesn't look like they have what it will take to beat a good team.

If we beat Portugal and our team; start playing, to it's FULL potential... "You DAMN Right"!!!

But at the end of the day... We have made the quarters (yet again), NOT gone out in the 1st round (YET AGAIN)... like others teams; I could mention!!! ;-)) ha ha ha ha ha ha
