Folic acid does not help you conceive a baby. It prevents birth defects. Have you tried using an ovulation predictor? Use that and have sex every other day, not every day. This is to make sure he produces the quantity that you need.
If you need meds you can take Clomid with a doctor's supervision.
I don't know what he could do to help except to wear boxers instead of briefs (to keep his guys cool). And relax, don't stress about it.

Folic acid doesnt help you get pregnant. Has nothing to do with fertility. Just protects the baby IF you do conceive. As for him, he can take the cell phone out of his pocket (if he puts it there), where boxers instead of tight underwear, and lay off alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, etc...have sex every other day. It will happen.

I thought folic acid was something you took before you got pregnant to prevent birth defects.

there is a pre-conception vitamin, that both you and your husband can take. it's called Precare Conceive. it's prescription, but your ob-gyn should be able to prescribe it for you both. if not just ask your regular family doc. just remember, though that what is really important is that you both get plenty of rest, eat a well-balanced diet, and that you take folic acid. good luck!

There are specific male fertility supplements available, but the most important nutritional factor is a daily vitamin. A daily vitamin will help provide the ingredients necessary to create mobile, healthy sperm.

Also, studies show that a moderate intake of caffeine helps "hype up" sperm to make them faster swimmers, which can slightly increase fertility. Weird, but true.

Last, make sure he stays out of hot tubs and hot baths, as they can COMPLETELY destroy sperm reserves for up to three months.
Good luck!

It takes 2 people to make a touch one. He has an same responsibility for that kid as she does. it isn't her fault in any respect, he saved 'humping' her aswell. He should be thoroughly honest to himself and the mummy. it is a very demanding time for them both. So if you're a buddy you need to be supportive. Goodluck!
