ok i have an older computer, in which i gave to my brother upon purchasing a new one, but just recently when he went to turn it on, nothing. he got no power at all... at first i thought power supply... but upon further inspection i notices the power button isnt clicking like it should or used to, it seems the power button is stuck in, and would explain as to why the power turns on for about 5 seconds when i unplug the power cord from the outlet and plug it back in.. now, i got the front panel off, but there a backing on it , so that the power button is inbetween the inner backing and the outer shell.. it has 3 tabs on both sides im wondering if i just tabs those and the button will be visable or? also i need to know where to buy a new power button for it any ideas?

i have an emachine T2958 and i love it. granted it is a low end gateway but it is good. Take off the front panel and and it should be held in place by either clips or screws. u can ordre one from e machines or u might get one from a computer store.
