I like Whitney Houston.... before the drugs

No one can ever beat Whitney. When she sings it just touches your soul. But i agree, drugs have made her a little wacko. I love that song "when you believe" that both Whitney and Mariah sang. Their voices are gorgeous together.

I liked Whitney Houston before the drugs too. She was wonderful in the movie "The Bodyguard". I still love Whitney Houston much better and think she sings alot better the Mariah Carey

I agree Whitney had an amazing voice. However now-a-days, it doesn't sound so good. You can tell just by her speaking voice, the damage she's done to her vocal cords. I like Mariah Carey. She's had a long and very successful career (with 16 number one songs- I think). Despite her personal problems (i.e. divorce from Tommy Matola & being hospitalized) she's maintained her voice and class as a certified diva. This is only confirmed by her return to the music scene with her highly successful album.

well since whintey houston is a crack head i would have to say mariah carey but if whintey wasnt a crack head she would sing much better than mariah carey. and plus mariah makes some of the dumbest songs on earth like her new song fly like a bird now that is just retarted!!!
