Anglefire is great as is Taos. But snuggled between those two is a place called Red River. It also depends what other type of thing you are looking for example nightlife ski resorts..etc.. but all 3 are great..used to live there....many moons ago!

Angelfire area is outside of Taos maybe 20 miles, close to a ski area, and has a higher elevation. I think the chances for snow are better there than Taos or Santa Fe
