Well, I find it easier to believe that it all balances out because I believe in reincarnation. Otherwise, it's hard to explain why some people seem to be unusually lucky, others unusually unlucky.

Witches generally believe in the three-fold law: what you do comes back to you three-fold. If you do good, that's fine. If you do harm, three-fold could be enough to kill or maim you. Therefore, try hard to do good and not harm, if only for your own self-interest.

Sometimes it does but we aren't always there to see it.

Here's a good example.

My stepdad's first wife cheated on him and abandoned him and their children to be with the other man. 15 years later she found out that her husband was cheating on her. Now she is alone and has no real relationship with her children. That's karma.

For example a crook continues on a crooked path which he will most likely encounter other crooks.
