Time to move on babe. Start dating again, and find other things to fill the void. I was in the same situation back in 1992, and I let it eat me alive for almost two years.
He's not thinking about you night and day, so why are you wasting the time and energy on this bastard? If he still has this psychological control over your life, then he has won. Move on with your life, and don't make the same mistake I told you about earlier. I guarantee you, after a couple of months, you'll find the "pity parties" to be very lonely and depressing when you're the only one who is answering the invitation, while others around you will be sick and tired of the, "Here we go again about how she misses him" story.

Everyone gave good advice. Keep busy and only time will ease the pain you are feeling.
But after being broken up with my true love for 9 years now and being re-married, it is much easier, and life goes on, but I still have feelings and maybe always will, so I say if there is any chance of getting him back you might want to try that too just to be sure you did all you could.

You and I are going through the same exact thing at the same time. I can only tell you what as worked for me. I stay busy. I make a list of things to do that will keep me totally occupied so I don't have time to sit and think about him. It's worked so far. The worst times for me are at night when I'm alone in bed. I hope this has helped some. It's a terriable thing to go through. Hang in there....we're in it together.

I think you should give yourself a 1 week pity-party. You should cry, think about all the things you guys did together, just feel yucky. After the week is over you wipe your eyes, pull yourself together, and respect yourself enough to get on with your life. He is.

I am sad to say... it is simply a matter of time. I know you probably don't believe that, I know I didn't when people told me that... but it is true.
Find things to keep your mind occipied... take up some sort of hobby that can take your focus away from your thoughts.
Good Luck
