I tried vista test program it didn,t work I rolled it back to xp but now have to hit f1 to get it to go to xp

this happened when I tried vista and had to do rollback because it didn,t work also system restore has no restore points I can do dell restore but will lose data

I think it is problem in your BIOS settings. It is trying to detect a hardware that is not functioning. So try to correct the BIOS settings.

if the f1 thing appears in the POST then u have a problem with the priherals "keybord or mouse"
and this is not an XP problem

go to system restore and restore your pc back to a the date it was working

That's one of the bug of Vista, just wait until all the bugs are fixs.Just F11 it
