Sure, go to http://www.download.com and check out some freewares. Sharewares are trial versions so make sure you get freeshare so that you never have to pay. Just do a search for whatever you are interested in.

I also recommend http://www.softpedia.com They have a lot of options too and you can filter out only freeshares.
