I'm 20 years old. When I was a kid I had tubes in my ears to drain blocked ear wax. For the past 6 months I have really had no earwax, it just doesn't come out. I've also had an ear infection twice in the past 6 months. Do I need tubes again?

From what you'd described, you might need a grommet tube inserted again. Why do you always have ear infection? Do you dig your ears often cos' if you do, you shouldn't! Digging encourages the ears to produce more wax. I suggest you should seek treatment a.s.a.p. Repeated ear infection (more than 3 months duration) might lead to late-onset deafness.

You need to talk to your doctor about that. You don't really want to mess with your ears. Wouldn't you rather just get checked out than go deaf?

Possibly, why don't you ask your doctor this question?
