To me they sound desperate.......o m i being 2harsh ! But most of the persons n profiles that we c n read r not true............N y shoud we look 4partners on d net/dating sites etc unless ofcoz we cant find o meet a partner on dry land , dont u think so? To me, they must b really "DESPERATE o HARDUP" n that it is impossible 4them 2find a partner in d real world @ there must b something that they r hiding o wrong with themselves.......what do u think guys ?

I would call them the same thing I call people who get on computers to ask questions of people they don't know really exist, or at least not as their avitars or "pics" suggest. They're modern individuals who want human interaction, and they look for it in ways that modern American society says is most productive, and internet is THE most productive in that situation. True, you don't know anything, really, about the people you ask questions of, or chat with, but that's what modern America has come to, and unless we change this HUGE instrument, the internet, we'll probably keep on going this way, and try to surf all the potholes along the way. I can assure you that, as a man who grew up LONG BEFORE the internet, social interaction before internet had it's pitfalls too. And you may be too young to know just how big some of those pitfalls were, but they were there, and still are once you meet individual face-to-face. You just have to take the risks, with some intelligence and maturity and guidance from reliable big brothers and big sisters and moms and dads. Enjoy modern America, whoever you REALLY are!!
