Ok, maybe saying that I would lure them was not what I meant. I want to know how you get a job working w/ the police to help catch pedophiles.

Do exactly that....try to lure the predators into meeting you posing as an underage girl and simply notify the cops, but be careful...make sure the cops know what you are doing and do not meet the suspected predator anywhere other than a public place and be sure to keep records of all corespondence for proof. I think this is a wonderful thing...The cops cant do it all, we have a duty to put these freaks away too!!

Law enforcement has bee growing more complex, so you really need more than just academy training. Most academies require at least an associates degree in criminal justice or law enforcement before you even apply. Most people start out as patrol and work their way up the chain. You can get special training if you are interested in certain type of law enforcement.

pose ask a younger person if you do grab enough info detailing the right info that can lead to this person getting arrested contact the police department

You can't lure them - if they pursue then it's different than you pursuing them (which will mean they go free).
