Many scientific experiments have shown that babies prefer people with parallel features (ie the same on both sides). These experiments show that the same person is scored as more attractive when the features are parallel, and less attractive when the photo is altered to have the features slightly less parallel. There are of course many things that make a person attractive to another person, but this experiment may show how at a precursory glance we find a person attractive or unattractive.

To me it's all about the attitude. If someone comes across me with a nasty attitude no matter what their outside looks like, they're automatically unattractive to me.

I guess this explains why I have no friends !
Seriously though . I also find arrogance a real turnoff, yet many arrogant people seem to draw lovers like flies to ----. Ahha ! Maybe we are attracted to those we need to learn from ? And maybe we can learn from our dislikes too, and from being wanted, or not wanted .

POOR PERSONAL HYGIENE is toppers: poor skin care, poor dental care, lack of haircare, lack of foot & hand/nailcare, body odors. After that it's in the eye of the beholder. Even personality/character is left to the decretion of each beholder. I guess that's why they say there is someone for everyone.

I heard that, as far as a person's face is concerned, it's the lack of symmetry. The more symmetrical the face, the more attractive.
