Firstly, if you still have acne, you should try to treat that first and then deal with the acne scarring issue. If you can, take more vitamins, as they improve skin condition, in particular Vitamin E and betacarotene, as it firms up skin and makes it more taut, therefore imrpoving the overall condition of your skin and tightening up those "craters" that dot your face. Additionally, drink at least 8 glasses of water a day (no soda), which supplies more water to your skin and thus makes it have better elasticity. Apply topical ointments and creams that contain skin-firming ingredients (like Vitamin E and others that will be named on the package), and apply them several times a day for best results. Using a scrub or "firming mask" once every few days also helps, as the scrub will rinse away older skin and leave you with new, fresher, tighter skin, and the mask will improve elasticity. Asking a determatologist would also help if you are looking for professional treatments (microdermabrasion, etc) which can improve the quality of your skin and reduce effects.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

I have been told Vitamin E may help. It makes the skin more "Viscose" depends on how bad the scars are. Buy the Pills and poke with a pin to take the liquid out. Also, just try some Skin Lotions with Vitamin E. This all I know to try.

Don't SCRUB your face when you wash, 'cos it will cause RED acne scars. Just massage your face.
Keep your HANDS OFF your face.
There is something called SCAR FADE that is a scar gel. You put it on your scars and then you blot the excess off. I THINK you can wear make-up over it. Regardless, you can use it overnight.

it's called BACKNE. its a real term. Go to a dermatologist and he will get them all gone in a few months. It's the only legit way (none of that b.s. proactive stuff that doesn't work) i tried it and it burned up my face which i had to go to a dermatologist to fix. It may cost some but insurance pays part of it. Talk to your parents about making an appointment and just go to the dermatologist, say you have backne and he'll do the rest. It will definitely be gone by prom if you make an appointment now
