Am I missing a plug-in? Thanks for any help.

try searching yahoo (search engine )for "macromedia flashplayer for firefox" install // just follow the directions// and you should be able to view those things you want

CNN's videos are optimized for Windows Media Player Version 9 or above. You should get a prompt in Firefox to get the player. Some use Quicktime also. Good luck.

upgrade to the newer firefox which is 1.5.04 and make sure you download all the plug in for it such as real player quicktime, java, macromedia flash and so on. There is apage with all plugs that you need.

I know that FF does not come with Macromedia Flash. I also know it either comes with JAVA or uses the same one I DL'd for Windoze. As for Quicktime or RealPlayer you will probably need to get them sooner or later

I had the same problem. I ended up using the new Internet Explorer after trying everything else.
