everyone... when it has no oxygen in it or your hemoglobin levels are low. oxygen combines with the hemoglobin in your red blood cells and creates a red color... thats why your blood is red when you see it.

Blue blood as in royal blood? I definitely do...all 4 of my mother's grandparents have Henry I as a common ancestor. I'm descended from the Plantagenet and Stuart kings. My in-laws are also descended from the Plantagenets, which means my son got a good dose!

I have my family tree up on RootsWeb. The royals intermarry a LOT.

I sure don't live like royalty though! LOL

You do. before your blood gets out of your body its blue but, because of the oxygen from the air when blood comes out of your body it turns red. Spiders also have blue blood.

All of the human race. your question is under royalty so to answer that I would say the Spanish were the original blue bloods because foreign natives could see their blue veins in their wrists. The Spanish are extremely light in the color of their skin.

Royalty in general--they were called this because they considered it a mark of gentility not to do any work at all. They chose to just sit around all day doing nothing at some point in history, which caused their skin to be pale to the point that you could see their blue veins through the skin.
