Yes, I gave a search for my name and got hundreds of results.
And some people wrongly claim it as a Tamil name. That is not true. Sindhu is Sanskrit...

I like it!! I haven't ever heard it before, so it seems even unique for your culture. I used to live in Asia and have never heard that name before.

My name is Sarah, which means princess. I love that my name means princess, but I wish I had a more unique name so that when I'm at a party and hear "Sarah", I don't turn around when someone isn't actually talking to me!! You're lucky!!

No, I have never met anyone with that name before. I do know a Siri Bhandu, but she is a Sikh and was given the name by her guru.

It sounds strange to me so I have to guess it is ethnic or just something your parents made up trying to be cute. I like ethnic names as long as the person is of that culture.
