i don think he was out of line.. those cards were well deserved.. the players brought that upon themselves.. i think he was fair/unfair to both sides equally !!

Of course he will ref again, if that is what tournament officals have decided. However, he shouldn't ref in a major tournament again until he learns how to keep control of the game.

He clearly let the Holland-Portugal game get away from away. He made decisions to equal out his previous ones, he missed several other crucial incidents (inlcluding Figo's head-butt).

The reffing in this game was a disgrace.....

I don't think so. At least I hope not! He made too many bad calls. He called things that shouldn't have been called. He had absolutely no control of the game. The only pro of him refereeing was that it made for an extremely entertaining game. He broke the record for the most cards in a world cup game.

No way...he was a disgrace! Ruined the Portugal v Holland match and now also ruined Portugals chances in their next match. Needs banning.

I hope not. He let the game get way out of hand, and missed some crucial calls. If he refs the final, it will be one hell of a mess.

He will probably be refereeing the final match on the 9th ~ check the listing, he is among the favourates to take the final match.

He is good, I must say - very impressive record.

i don't think he would ref again, cause for the Ecuador and Germany game the commentator said something about him not refing again for his bad calls
