I'm looking for cheap and non-damaging. Can't leave scratches, but still gets finger oil off. Maybe something that has anti-static in it... Anyone know if baby wipes work?

As Prof-M stated, the type of cloth or shammy you would use for eyeglasses is the type of material you want to use (not a rug which would surely scratch the begeeberz out of it).
The one thing I must add is I have found that although windex works great, spray it ON THE CLOTH, not on the LCD panel.
You never want to risk liquid dripping down inside the LCD panel between the bottom of the screen and plastic. It's also best to have a second cloth handy to dry the screen with so as to prevent streaking.

i give you this formula of sure to clean your lcd monitor, get a clean rug and bar soap pour water to the rugs and scrubb some soap on it twist it hard be sure it is not a dripping wet and wipe it to your lcd gently clean it you will see it is more cleaned than using commeercial cleaning kit

They sell those cleanser sprays everywhere in electronic stores.
I use "Kensignton" and you can wipe the traces off with regular tissue (Kleenex).

The best thing for cleaning is the handkerchief for cleaning the eyeglasses. they are soft and will clean the monitor well!
