Oh, yes. Why are some people so hung up on a person's race? I'm more concerned about morals and personality than I am about race. Some people just need to grow up and get educated.

It makes my blood boil to see any racist comments here, regardless of who is making them, when will everyone learn that a human is a human, regardless of race, colour, nationality. I have been on the receiving end of this, being English and living in Scotland was hell on Earth, I was endlessly tormented and abused and had to leave school a year early because I could not stand the bullying anymore. I have been hounded at work and had abuse hurled at me, just because I was English and living in Scotland. Quite frankly that sort of attitude is not going bring about any sort of peace in this world.

Most definitely! I hate any type of racist or prejudist comment about anyone! I am white, was raised baptist, have a 14 year old daughter with a man who is black and Mexican but was adopted by strict Catholic Puerto Rican family, I'm still very close to them all. I'm now with a white man, and just recently adopted a 13 year old girl who is Laotian and was raised Buddhist. I have many bi, gay, and lesbian friends. One of my very best friends is a black gay man. Needless to say I surround myself with as much diversity as possible! My life would be so boring if everyone in it looked, acted, and thought just like I do.
I really don't understand prejudism or hate in any form.

Yes. In fact I report racist questions (those with the n-word usually). I am also tired of the racist comments against whites too. I wish more people would be upset by those too. Where is the common decency?

Yeah, i never really thought about racial issues much unitl i got on here, now I am always paying attention wherever I go to witness this "so common" racism of whites to blacks. I have only witnessed black on black racist slander.

people like that only have courage to say derogatory things because cyber-space separates them from a one-on-one interface. these same people would seriously think twice if they had to meet the person/ people face-to-face -- trust me.

do i get tired of reading it? how about i don't even respond to ignorance. too many other bright & intelligent people i'd rather spend my time with.

Elevate!

I know I sure do if what they're saying isn't the truth. If what's being said IS the truth then I don't mind at all.
