ok ive known my friend scott since i was born, and he's like a cousin to me... but for the past year i think he has a.. crush on me, and i dnt feel that way- hes like my cousin and it would be like dating my cousin.... i dnt wanna hurt his feelings tho.... what should i do?

tell him the exact thing u just said.."i think of u as more of a cousin,sorry but can we still be friends like we were before?" u would not be hurting his feelings,but sometimes guys get wierd about that stuff and dont even want to talk to you anymore,but im sure if you have known scott that long it will be ok!

Tell him that you can't bring yourself to think of him that way because he's so close he's like family and that kind of freaks you out. Just tell him the truth. But I would suggest thinking about it and maybe putting aside the whole him feeling like a cousin to you. Since he's not, it might be a good thing that he knows everything about you, and still likes you. That takes a lot, and a lot of married people say that the best person to marry is your best friend. Just think about it.

Why don't you have a crush on him? Unless he's actually your cousin, there's nothing wrong with him having a crush, on you. especially if it's an orange crush. (but seriously, let him love you, and let yourself love him!). It's possible you've already hurt his feelings. Give in to the urge, girl!

you should go out with him once then instead of kicking him to the curb you should lead him there gently making sure that he gets the hint but isn't to depressed about it but doesn't like you any more or he will give up and like someone else
