I use herbs for everything. I have an extensive herb garden. Lemon balm for furniture polishing. Lots of fresh peppermint leaves steeped in cold water releases their menthol for an instant cool down drink on a hot day. Rosemary and peppers for sinuses. I have so much basil-6 varieties. Sweet basil pesto and in all my italian cooking. I make the best lasagna. Starts in the spring with my herbs and tomatoes and in late summer when everything is ripe and ready for cooking I get to work. Yumm. Herbs are gods gift to humans. Chamomile is the best for tea. I could go on for hours. For a great book get Rodales illustrated encycopedia of herbs. Tells history, what they do-medicinally, culunary, companion planting, crafts, everything you want to know

Maybe, not quite as much as you are. Please be careful, certain herbs can cause problems when mixed with others. Seek advise from a professional, and your reference guide before adding any new herbs to your regimine. I say anything is worth a try to keep from paying the ungodly medical bills for addicitons and masks, not cures. Keep on being healthy.

I use herbs for many things. I find new uses for them everyday. I hope the FDA does not try to regulate them too. We could choke on on Bay Leaf?

I adore herbs and the medicinal benifits as well as the fact that they smell great and taste great. I love to grow them but the heat where I live limits my herbal growing.
